Yunn graduated in Biological Science at the University of Amsterdam, with a focus on molecular biology and microbiology.
She has mainly worked with E. coli and did her master thesis on the evolution of antibiotic resistance in E. coli.
In 2023, Yunn joined the Van de Peer lab to work on Chlamydomonas reinhardtii to study the effects of whole-genome duplication.
